Frequently Asked Questions

Why do I design?

I love creating solutions that help people connect, understand, and achieve their goals—it’s the ‘why’ behind what I do and what excites me about every new challenge. Each project is a chance to grow and solve real problems.

What do I love designing?

Experiences and solutions that are intuitive and meaningful for the user whilst driving forward business goals. I thrive on creating products and features that enhance productivity and enjoyment, and get excited about discovering new problems to solve.

What are my career goals?

I want to one day lead impactful design projects, mentor emerging designers, sharing what I’ve learned while continuing to grow myself. My ultimate goal is to contribute to products that make a real difference in people’s lives—whether by simplifying complex challenges, creating moments of delight, or building connections that matter.

Fun fact: having always had an interest in crafts and learning new skills, I set up a macrame side hustle during the pandemic selling wall hangings and shelves. I also designed and sold DIY plant shelf kits.

My Design Principles

Authenticity

I value open, honest communication and strive to build genuine connections through collaboration and teamwork.

Adaptability

I stay flexible and curious, embracing new ideas and feedback to craft innovative solutions that evolve with the needs of users.

Mission-Driven

Every design choice supports a bigger purpose, creating solutions that drive results and impact.

Coming from a small business background, I’ve learned the importance of meeting deadlines, staying resourceful, and working collaboratively

I bring a unique perspective to design. My background as a website designer and marketing automation specialist has instilled in me the importance of empathy, transparency, process and iterative work.

I bring my automation expertise into my design process, evaluating multiple ideas and routes to achieve desired outcomes.

Mastering the art of finding solutions allows me to bring my resourcefulness to the table.

Outside of work

When I’m not designing you’ll find me outside learning new skills such as attempting to develop a green thumb for my garden, trying to not fall off my new paddleboard, working on my pullup skills in crossfit class or playing a new game with my dog Baloo.

I enjoy strolling my local countryside, chucking weights about to heavy music and bingeing a good TV series or book.
